Tokyo Disney has just launched a new type of vacation package, and if you’re going to the park for the rides, you might want to investigate it as it includes LOTS of them.
The Basics
The Fantasy Springs: Enjoy Attractions Even More package is a three-day, two-night package. However, park tickets and ride benefits are only included for two days. If you want to visit the park on your check-out day, you must buy another park ticket.
What’s the Main Point of Difference
Like all Vacation Packages, this one includes your hotel (for two nights; more on that in a minute) and park entry tickets, in this case for two days—your check-in day ticket is for Disneyland, and the second day is for DisneySea. However, whereas a normal Vacation Package only includes one or two skip-the-line passes, this includes heaps.

By my guess, after my last visit, on a typical day, those rides would add up to at least eight hours of queuing. Normally, using the Priority Queue, you wait about 20 minutes a ride (give or take), which will gain you about five and a half hours to do other things in the park.

Again, that’s about 8-9 hours of queueing, dropped to, say, three hours – so another 5-6 hours saved.
Included Rides in Fantasy Springs
Plus, you get guaranteed access to Fantasy Springs and Priority Access to all four rides in that area, including the Peter Pan, Frozen and Rapunzel-themed rides.
Other Ride Benefits
And it’s not just one go per ride; the really big difference about this package is that the included pass allows you to go on a ride as many times as you like. That’s a major benefit over the current Vacation Package and the passes you can buy in the park, which are one-and-done.
Additionally, when you book the other Vacation Packages, you have to choose specific times for the included passes, which requires a fair bit of forward planning. The passes in this package can be used anytime throughout the day.
So, if you’re not a massive advance planner, this gives you more freedom to go with the flow in the park and not run from one side to the other to meet your entrance times or suddenly discover you’ve booked them in the middle of the parade.

You can book this package at all Disney-run hotels EXCEPT Fantasy Springs Hotel Grand Chateau and Disney Celebration Hotel.

Dining Privileges
Two breakfasts are included – on your second day and checkout day.
You can also add bookings for up to two lunches and two dinners in restaurants in the parks or hotels.
Note that these meals are not included in the package cost. Depending on the restaurant you may pay for either the set menu (sometimes when booking the package) or settle your bill for whatever you order on the day, but you can book popular choices in the park and hotels, including the restaurants in Fantasy Springs, Chef Mickey, Magellan’s, Blue Bayou, and Oceana.
While Lotso Cafe in the Toy Story Hotel is still open to Toy Story Hotel guests only, you can book Fantasy Springs Restaurant inside the Fantasy Springs Hotel with this package on day two.
Note that you can only dine in the respective in-park restaurants on the day of your ticket—so Disneyland on day one and DisneySea on day two.
All of the above are also still first come, first served, so you’ll need to be organised to book the popular choices when bookings officially open.
Gifts and Extras
You also get one voucher for a Souvenir Popcorn case per room, plus one voucher for a gift, a shoulder bag and the beverage ticket, which gets you selected drinks in the parks, per person.
Other Notes
You can book this as a solo traveler (there was a time you couldn’t book Vacation Packages for one).
It doesn’t expressly state that Happy 15 is included, but as it’s a perk of staying in an official Disney Hotel, I would guess it would be—although, with so many rides included without queues and guaranteed access to Fantasy Springs, you may not necessarily need to run into the park super early.
Remember, right now, only Miracosta and Fantasy Springs Hotel have Happy 15 for Tokyo DisneySea; the other hotels all have it for Disneyland, the park you’ll visit on your check-in day, so if you do want to use it, you’ll need to get there early.
The Downsides of This Package
Cost
As always, with a Vacation Package, this will not be cheaper than booking a room, park tickets, and Premier Access passes for yourself – especially if you are traveling with more than one person as packages are charged by person, not by room.
However, because the contact details of the Tokyo Disney press office are harder to find than those of an actual Government (true story – No10 Downing Street PR messaged me this week; Tokyo Disney won’t even pass on my details to the press team), I don’t have exact prices yet as they won’t become clear until bookings open on July 2.
However, I will tell you that Chris over at TDR Explorer has some starting prices. I won’t steal his extra research, so please head there if you want to see them now. I’ll update the post with my findings as soon as I can get into bookings.
Inflexibility
This isn’t only an issue with this package but with Tokyo Disney Vacation Packages as a whole. You can’t change the order in which you visit the parks. Day one of the package is Disneyland, and day two is DisneySea. No changes.
This seems particularly silly when this is specifically sold as a two-night, three-day package – it would be far better to allow people to arrive on day one and enjoy their hotel and the Disney area then do a park on day two and a park on day three – but, nope!
So, you’ll need to already be in Tokyo to arrive early enough to make the most of this package.
When Can You Book
The package goes on sale via the Tokyo Disney website at 3 pm Japanese time (note that it is not the normal 11 am that hotels go on sale) on July 2nd. This allows you to book dates from November 1st to December 27th.
